How do you achieve Success as a Life Coach?
The answer to this questions is; when your Client is Successful so are you!
How then can you help your Client achieve success?
As a Life Coach you are hired to help each and every one of your clients reach success. This will be different for each client. It is extremely important for your success that your client is successful.
The Road to Success is paved with many integrated parts.
I always find it interesting, when first working with clients, that they sometimes will struggle to define past Successes. In part this is due to the focus and attention our society contributes to the concept of Success. We all have had successes…everyday is a success. It depends on what you want to achieve.
Success doesn’t have to be winning the multi-million dollar contract. It can be, if that was your goal.
Success comes in all shapes and sizes and is defined solely by the Achiever or in Life Coaching, the Client.
Success will only happen when the following are in place and are appropriate for the Client.
Strategic Plan.
Plan based on a clear Vision.
Goals.
Actions Steps.
Accountability.
Persistence.
Now this may seem like a lot of work but remember nothing comes easy. You can spend many hours and a pocketful of bills but you will not find a magic solution. Your success will come with a determined effort. Each and every one of these pieces and parts are necessary for Success.
One of my favorite quotes in relation to the work needed to be successful comes from Michaelangelo, when, in reference to his masterpiece David, said, “ If people only knew how hard I worked they wouldn’t be so amazed.”
If you truly want to Achieve your Goals and be Successful, remember only you can make it happen.
Why not Start now.

Hi Phyllis,
ReplyDeleteA few months back, I answered a question on LinkedIn that you had asked about on-line groups. You chose my answer as best. Just thought I would check in to see if you have started a group and, if so, how things are going with it.
I hope this note finds you well and best of luck with your blog...the above is a great piece. BTW - I'm a certified Life Coach - CTI - 2003. Use those skills constantly in media, communications & Education which is what I do now. Really helps with the new clients.
OK, I'm rambling. Hope all is well. Drop me a line at Peterbeckwith1@me.com if the mood strikes. I'll send you a connection request on LinkedIn and we can keep an eye on each other that way too.
Take care - Peter B.
