Each and every day brings with it a challenge, some bigger than others. It might be getting up an hour earlier in the morning to achieve a planned for goal or climbing the highest mountain in the world.
Each of these actions needs a first step.
The drive and motivation that you need is always within you, I know it doesn’t seem that way at times but it is there!
I offer you some Life Coaching Questions that may help you unstuck and Move you to Action.
These are questions from my book, Life Coaching Activities & Powerful Questions.
Please use and share with others. Pick one to ask yourself every morning. Pick one to ask yourself every night.
So ask yourself:
1. What do you really, really, really want?
2. Why do you want it?
3. What is success to you?
4. What does it look like?
5. How will you know when you have become successful?
6. How will you know when you have found it?
7. What is holding you back from getting it?
8. Do you believe you can get it?
9. What motivates you?
10. What are your intelligences and talents?
11. How can you make the greatest difference in your own life?
12. Who do you have to Become in order to achieve what you Want to achieve?
Take on this challenge everyday for several weeks and see if you can be Moved to Action!
Pick a question that feels good to you.
Get that Idea out of your head and Move it to Action!
Have a great day.

12 Life Coaching Questions to Motivate
Phyllis Reardon M.Ed
Life Coach
We are a little over 3 weeks into Spring....Have you started that spring project yet? Have you taken the first step to the change you want?
I believe that Questions direct our lives. Think about it. Just how does your day go? How many questions do you ask? We ask questions at home...what's for breakfast...what do I have to pick up at the market? what time is my meeting? what info do I need to present? what? when? where? how?.........life directors.
We need answers, and the only way to get answers is to ask questions. I am offering you Life Coaching Questions that I use with my clients. Note them. Write them down and use them with the people in your life.
I begin with, "What do you really, really, really want?" because if you don't know what you want, how will you know when you have reached your goal or achieved.
In Lewis Carroll’s book, Alice In Wonderland, Alice asks The Cat which way she should go.
Alice: Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?
The Cat: That depends a good deal on where you want to get to.
Alice: I don't much care where.
The Cat: Then it doesn't much matter which way you go.
This question is crucial...the answer to the question is key to success. Give it thought. Write it down. Writing it down gets it out off your head and makes it more real.
Make sure the answer you give is one you want. It should be appropriate and realistic. Dream, infact dream big but make sure your goal is yours.
Write down each question or enter ino a computer program. Next take time to think about your response to each. Note your answer.
Keep a Success Book.

Phyllis Reardon M.Ed
Life Coach
What is the very Next Step?
It’s January 26th, 2011. How are you doing with that Resolution you made?
Have you created a plan for yourself but just can't seem to get moving?
Finding yourself pulled into a parking spot along life’s highway? If so take a break, pull back out and continue along the way.
The following are Life Coaching Activities & Powerful Questions that I use with my clients. Hope they help you.
The Mighty List
Have a list of things to do at home or at work?
Feeling confused as to where to start?
Take a few minutes,
Take a pencil & paper and prioritize that list.
Focus on the item listed as # 1.
Next Step
Ask yourself what is the very next action you have to take to make this goal/task happen?
Look closely at how you have defined that Next Step. Can this Next Step be expressed in smaller action steps.
Are there resources you need in place to help you achieve this goal. List them.
Time Frame
Now set a time to start this next step, date& time. Write this down and keep where you can see.
Reminders/Structures
Reminders are key. Create a reminder for that next step. A favorite symbol, stuffed toy or quote.
Rewards
Reward yourself when you accomplish tasks. You deserve it!
Make sure you Persist. Stay with it. If this is something you really want, mak it happen.
Have a great day.

Need to get Motivated? Life Coaching Activity to Motivate
Life Coaching Activity
Phyllis Reardon
Ok it's the hazy-lazy days of summer or is that daze of summer?
Where is the project you set out to complete? You know the one. The one that was on your New Year's Resolution list...the one that you re-activated the 1st day of Spring. But where is it now?
You have four(4) and a half(1/2) months; approximately 135 days left in 2010 to complete that project. Lots of time.
Here is a Life Coaching Activity to help you be successful.
1. Visualize your goal.
Get that picture clear in our mind again. Post or display a symbol, note or picture of what you want achieve. Having this in front of you regularly, acts as a constant reminder. It keeps you Focused.
2. Act As IF.
Act as if you have already completed the project. Speak as if it is already complete. I feel great at 125 lbs. or Isn't this sunroom a great place to relax. or My newly published book is selling like hotcakes.
3.Take Action.
Take the very 1st step necessary to move you toward the completion of your goal. Do it now!
4. Be Accountable.
Set dates for actions to be completed. Hold yourself to these dates. Get a trusted friend or family member to check on you to see you are meeting these deadlines.
5.Persist. Persist. Persist.
This can be difficult but you can do it. Stay with it.
